Find Your Place in the Orchestra
The Reston Community Orchestra brings together musicians from across Northern Virginia who share a passion for orchestral music and community engagement. Our members come from a wide range of backgrounds, including educators, engineers, healthcare professionals, retirees, students, and lifelong amateur musicians.
Whether you have recently returned to your instrument or have been playing continuously for years, you will find a supportive environment focused on musical excellence, collaboration, and enjoyment.
We Welcome
- String players across all sections
- Woodwind, brass, and percussion players as repertoire requires
- Musicians who can prepare music independently
- Collaborative, reliable players who value a positive rehearsal atmosphere
- No audition required, but review recent repertoire to get a sense of the difficulty level
