Celebrate the season with an afternoon of music filled with warmth, brilliance, and a little winter sparkle.
Winter Delights brings RCO musicians and special guests together in a festive chamber concert showcasing the many colors of the orchestra.
RCO’s brass will set the holiday mood with seasonal favorites, while our woodwinds and strings step into the spotlight in music for smaller ensembles, including Beethoven. Standing Room Only brings the intimate interplay of violin and cello to the program, adding another voice to this varied musical celebration.
The concert culminates in the dazzling energy of Vivaldi, with performances of two concertos from L’estro armonico, Op. 3 – music filled with virtuosity, conversation, and unmistakable Baroque exuberance.
From familiar holiday sounds to Beethoven and Vivaldi, Winter Delights offers a chance to experience RCO musicians up close in a relaxed and joyful celebration of the season.
